Overall, it's wonderful base for exploring Asheville attractions. The staff were FRIENDLY throughout our stay. The double room we were given had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a safe.
-
It was a 3-star hotel in every way. We appreciated staff and views. The Corner Kitchen, where you can eat, is only a short distance to the property.
-
clean and comfortable spacious rooms
the condition of the hotel was terrible peeling wallapaper for 140 a night? Very very over priced
-
Courtesy of the staff. Were very considerate when we had to leave early because of a family emergency.
-
We had a kingroom with balcony, which was great.. Everywhere there was a possibility to sit and relax in comfortable chairs etc. Location perfect, to walk to Biltmore village and take the trolley bus to Asheville downtown.
-
good sized room, hot fresh baked cookie.
poorly lit bathroom.
-
Easy access to the Biltmore estate and to Biltmore Village. Gray Line trolley tour from the front door to see Asheville. Biltmore Village has varied restaurants and shopping and parking available.
Having to reset wifi each day.
-
Very centrally located to Biltmore house and downtown. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
-
Great location convenient to the Biltmore estate.
Heating fan was alternately loud and quiet.
-
Mattress was not comfortable. No support. Bathroom door dragged on floor resulting in hard to open and close. Linen on bed did not smell clean due to old pillows.
-
Liked the friendly staff. Love Wolfgang Puck coffee.
The parking lot is set off from building. Only a few closer spaces which were filled. Had to walk in wind and snow/ice to hotel. No refridgerator or microwave in room.
-
Location was perfect for the event we were in town to attend. The staff of the hotel were all friendly and helpful.
The TGI Friday's does not represent this hotel well. We had three experiences there and all were below avg. Not clean, not consistent, and definitely not friendly. The only reason we continued to visit was that it was connected to the hotel and had cocktails. Double Tree can do better. Run them off and start over!

We loved the condition of the hotel. You can tell it has been well maintained. The beds was very comfortable and room service was on time and right!
One of the bed stand lights was blown. I took the bulb out and left it on the table in hopes the room attendant would see it and put a new one in. They took the bulb away but never replaced it in the lamp.
-
The view from our room was poor. It looked out over a roof. Maybe some plants or flowers would help the view.
-
It's was a great location and the price was good for the area.
A refrigerator in the room would have been nice and the pillows were a little small. Still a good place to stay.
